FETTUCCINE WITH PORCINI MUSHROOM CREAM AND WHITE TRUFFLES
You will need:
- 80g of butter
- 1 teaspoon of our Trivelli Tartufi porcini mushroom and white truffle cream (available in our online grocery store)
- 50g grated parmesan cheese
- 250g of Maiella fettuccine (available on our online grocery store)
Preparation of the cream of porcini mushrooms and white truffles:
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add a spoonful of truffle cream and mix well.
- Add a ladle of pasta cooking water
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and let it melt slightly to obtain a smooth sauce.
Cooking the pasta:
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions.
- Reserve a little cooking water before draining them.
- Add the drained pasta to the saucepan containing the cream.
- Mix gently to coat the pasta well with the sauce.
Adjusting the consistency:
- If the sauce seems too thick, add a little pasta cooking water to thin it out.
- Mix well until you get a smooth, creamy texture.
Taste:
Feel free to add grated Parmesan cheese.
